This Word.....

Anachronism...
1. a person , a custom or an idea that seem old fashioned and does not belong to the present

2. something that is placed in the wrong period of history (e.g book or play)

This word has stuck up on me since lately. Not using it as word but more thinking of it when seeing people that might wear the inappropriate clothes. And I did not mean teenagers, but more to the adult that wearing maybe something too much for them.

And every time I'm seeing them, 'I'm an anachronism' keep popping out from my head. Maybe a good word to comfort myself that I'm just wearing differently from them.

Anyway, where did I get this word? It come from this one song by this great band The Dresden Dolls... the name of that song is Girl Anachronism, that sound so upbeat.

I think that I should put that song tomorrow in my EarCandy. And all my opinion about that song tomorrow. I guess people will instantly like it for the beat and the energy that contain in that song.

Guess that's all of my babbling for now....

Ok, first I'm not sure why i pick this video. I just finding out that it was so hilarious to see people attempt to do a perfect jumping jacks. Because I can't do it perfect too, so I share this video for laughing moment together...as a fail jumping jacks star....eh?

I'm totally hook with this song since I heard it in Watchmen (scene: The Comedian funeral).This song is kind of old but very worth to hear especially by a people who love digging an old songs. Just like me.

When you look at this picture, what is the first thing that pop out from your mind?

As for me, PEACEFUL is the word that coming out when I see this picture. A good feelings come to me which is very much needed as the great tension keep mounting. Just wishing that that I can be in that place, alone and enjoying the beautiful scenery, running from all of the hectic life.


Well, maybe this picture is kind of digitally made. But still I think that there must be this kind of scenery somewhere in this world. Because Mother Nature is unpredictable.

Talking about Mother Nature. Today is Earth Day. Ok, I know that I might doing nothing much to the wellness of the earth. But like the other environmentally-aware people, I try my best taking part in saving this earth. Recycling, avoid wearing too much leather, etc... Hoping that i can do better day by day.

So, what if youtube was fake?

Well, if I was waking up from a sleep and finding out that the youtube is just a dream I might cry a lot because I'm so crazy about Youtube!! I watch nearly everything from vlog, short movies, music video, any tv show that I never heard of.... maybe not everything but still I'm a youtube lover that I forgot to watch a tv lately.Hmm....

Ok, the reality is if I waking up just to finding out that youtube is not real. I might end up making one. Even I'm not a really 'good friend' with html and stuff I will build my own youtube, letting people share their creativity to whole wide world.Isn't it great... and it will be some kind of community work? I guess...

But if youtube was fake, then there will not be YouTube Pick in this blog. Am I right?

A Little Things to Reminisce

I got so many boxes under my bed, which is I didn't remember exactly what I put in those boxes. So I take out one of it (the little one) and open it.

what am I found out in that box? Well... a few junks like school homework footnote that I write in a little piece of paper( i found lot of it), a pieces of missing puzzles, a 'collection' of a very short pencil ( now I wonder why I keep it at the first place). But what more interesting, I found this 3 little things....a little mini toys...



Ok, the first toy, that bear toy is from the ice cream free gift.I just don't remember which ice cream but I remember that me and my sister used to fight over it. Of course my sister win....(so disappointing).

The second toy,I got it when I was in Form 3 (15 years old). It was the figure of my favourite character Hanagata Tooru(Shoyo team) in japanese comic Slam Dunk. Yes! I'm a big fan of Slam Dunk! And with my few friends, we used to have this after-school activity of reading comic (particularly Slam Dunk). One of the friend will bring her comic collection, we read it and at the same time careful not to be busted by teacher. Reading comic is not allowed in my school..... but we survive... from being busted!

The third is the special toy. It was the really known character in japanese cartoon. Shin Chan. I love going to this shop that sell a rare stuff, and finding out this toy for just 50 cents! I buy one only and thinking that going to buy more in a few days.... Then I came again to that shop just to finding out that the toys is sell like 5 times expensive!!! I forgot my intention to start the collection...so I just left with one of a kind that I luckily buy earlier.

So I guess that's my babbling for now....

YouTube Pick... Today, I think that I want to show this video that grab my attention since last week.



I'm not going to ranting about Kiera Knightley act here. Because the main point is about the messages in this video. Domestic violence is a things that scare every woman in this world. Ok maybe I never being abuse by anyone but just picturing how painful it is being beaten by someone that we love is so disturbing.

Have these people that abusing someone that their suppose to loved ever wonder if they are being abuse? Maybe some of them come from the broken family. But I think if someone come from the this kind of family, will try to make things better by loving everything that their had in their present life without thinking much about past.Isn't it?

I come to think that beating is some kind of addiction. Just like when you are smoking for the first time ( or whatever that make people addictive). First when you try it, you feel guilty and thinkinbg about the consequences to your health.... but at the same time you feel good and you start taking it bit by bit till you being control by your urge to have as a part of your life. That same goes as beating, your guilty and think how painful they are. but then you realized that they still can get through life with all the bruises and pain. You give more until they cannot take it( this always the way it is, because nobody report the abuse).

This not only for women abuse, but for child abuse and old people abuse ( there is a case, you know). They need our help, don't just watch it. Who knew if someone close to them is being abused?

Ok I'm not usually a disco music lover but the tune of this song is pretty catchy and never fail to make me dance while listening to it. Just to say that my choice of music is such diversity. Doesn't have to listen to rock or alternative all the time. Beside if you listen to a slow ballad does not mean that you are life tear-jerker, right?

Have You Ever Look Back?

I got a question...(especially to the one who passed mid twenty)

When you walk around town, you see a young love birds that showing too much PDA (public display affection) or a group of a teens that acting like they own the place, making so much noise and annoying you who just want to relax or maybe wearing something that really inappropriate for your sight... what would you do?

a) Kick them out of the place that you 'accidentally' hang out with them.
b) Feeling disgust and storm out of that place
c) Puke all your gut out in front of them.

Wait! Before you pick your option or you might want to do all of it. Just look back a little while, you used to be a teenager. Did we follow the common sense or just having fun with your friends without care what he other adult might think.

I used to be like that, I mean looking at them with this look that think they just so acting all up for the attention. Till one of my friend ask.

"Seeing them making you remember about us a long time ago, isn't it? and now we see them like the adult see us before,didn't you think about it?"

Yeah, now I remember how crazy I am when I was this underage moment. Maybe not involve wearing a short skirt or having a cute bf, but still making a crazy things that if reminisce so much will bring more blush. Talking about style back them making me scream more that praise it. I mean wearing track suit with big t-shirt is not a great fashion statement. Still wearing big t-shirt sometimes.. but wearing it with tight jeans...( more comfortable) I think I like most of my style now.

So there is nothing to be disgust about these young people. They just want to have fun like we are back then. As long as they are not involved in a things like crime or drugs, I think we should let them be who they want to be. Because someday they will grow out of it. Just hope that they will look back at the 'young behaviour' when they saw somebody that age younger than them, eh? ^_^

I blabbering about money.....

Since two months ago, I realised that I cannot keeping track of my money. It is not that I spend it somewhere. I mean, I just buy an essential and then after checking the receipt. I finding out that nearly all the things that I buy got their prices soaring up!

So starting from last month, I have been carefully spending my money. And try this three method that might be a little crazy.The results? It works... Guess that I'm going to share it... to see if this method work with the other people.

1. I keep an extra money that left after I spend it in a least open drawer. Because I'm such a forgetful person, I will be forgot that I am keeping a money in this drawer. My parents who is firstly using this method. And it really work, especially I use a non-see-through coin box so I did not know how much I collected

2.I just bring a little money when I'm going out. So I will not tempted to buy anything just because I realise that my money is just enough to buy an essential. Also I left my bank card at home, because the temptation of my shopping spree... can be so dangerous.... hmm....

3.This is the craziest one. I love taking phone pamphlet(more expensive is better).I stick it on a wall of my study desk at home, pretending that I'm going to buy that phone.I'll be writing on the pamphlet when I'm going to 'buy' that phone. And every time I see it, it will remind me that I have something 'great' that I'm going to buy. and I'm putting extra cash in my coin box that I keep in a drawer.

This is truly work for me. I'm not sure how many that I keep, because I only open it in the next few months. Hope it will be enough to buy something expensive. But I'm not thinking to buy something with that money. I will keep it in my bank account. So I will be ready for a stormy-moment of money. Nobody know when it will happen.

Hearing this song is kind of bringing such a good mood to me,make me smiling and sometimes dancing.One of a kind song isn't it? From Urban Hymn(1997).

Oh, actually in my previous two posts of EarCandy. I forgot to put the name of the songs, just realized about it now. Well OK, the song that in EarCandy#1 is Gold Lion from Yeah Yeah Yeahs and EarCandy#2 is Creep by Radiohead.
