YouTube Pick...(Book Week Special)

Today's pick is something classic and really goes to the heart of a hopeless romantic person, like me (yeah, right!)

Which is... I finally finish reading the book last night. After 2 weeks struggling to finish it. Yay!

The greatest love movie that I admit make me cry, smile, and hoping. It is not just a love story between two people but it was also about struggling to survive. And how there is one women who is really take the resposibility by that time the women is consider as weak.

Great novel and great movie....Am I right?

This Is So Cheap.... But Still Good...:) (Book Week)

Ok, I'm so over about the books warehouse sales. But still, I love to write a recommendation of books. These few books, I buy and read before I the sales ( I still could not get rid of it!). And this is a very great collection of books. And the writers, most of it a very well known. Past and present. Not only fiction is written, also a life experience, the politic (read Micheal Moore:Idiot Nation) and non fiction (Sigmund Freud:Forgetting Things), many more genre. The most worthy is the price is so cheap than the contents that seem so valuable. Just like what Penguins Books always offer, quality and value.

I already buy 5 of it and still want to vast the collection, as the books only price RM 9.90 here (in UK it's only 1.50. I'm so jealous). And it did not making me broke it I buy 2,3 books every month.

Finding out more about this 70 books collection for 70th Penguin Books anniversary by this links:-

We are what we read, did you agree with that?

Today song is...

Unconditional-The Bravery

The title already say it all. About unconditional love. When I first heard this song I feel so dizzy for the first 18 seconds as it really sound like a techno song. The most catchy part of the song is the chorus. I always sing it whenever I feel lonely. Hmm...lonely?

Like what I told yesterday, there is never ending in this buy-a-book craziness. Here is the other books that I bought at the warehouse book sales.

This is the truly collection that will accompany me for a few months. In case that I just want to be lazy at home. That's my passion of books, and I think I have to make sure that I'm not going near the book sales again. I think it's enough for now. Maybe if there is the other sales next year...hmm...

Oh by the way... this is the list of the books. Kind of old books, but remember that books never get old... :)

Crime From The Mind Of Woman-Edited and Introduced by Elizabeth George
*a novel that full of crime short story being written by female writer.
Quarterdeck-Julian Stockwin

Well, that's all...

First of all, I just want to say this to myself.

"Please forgive my bibliomania, but I just can't help it"

What makes me say that? Hmm... this is the event that happen last week. I suppose just have a walk, to clear my clutter mind and also try to get an idea for every of my writing project that I just cannot finish. Then I stumbled to this, book warehouse sale... and proud to call myself bookworm, I just caught up in there for few hours.

I just can't believe how the price is totally been mark down. And I think that I'm just a crazy bookworm that keep going through the books like I never see a books before.

And yeah I managed buying a few books ( please doubt this...) that will keep me in company for a few months. And this week going to be a 'Books Week' with photo logs.

Lullaby-Armor For Sleep

I heard this song last year and still fall in love with it. This is the first song that make me thinking of word EarCandy..... Hmmm.. even the song is not all about candy but I think because it melting my heart through my ear (now... What am I thinking?)

Oh anyway, Armor For Sleep instantly become my favourite. I have heard a couple of their song, maybe not all as I still try to discover more of their songs. But have to admit, they are a great band. Even most of their song is always associated with being emo, I still full support to them. And yea, I'm not emo.

Enjoy the music...

Once again, let's go back to the past... Maybe a little bit far than 2000. How about 1983? This is the trailer of John Carpenter's Christine (1983)

Since lately, I have been spending most of my time watching movie in YouTube. There are few nice people upload some of the movies that I never have a chance to watch it due of cannot find some of the the movies anywhere. My big thank you to them. I take three days to finish watching this movie, as it have been cut part by part.

This movie is about a car that hve supernatural effect to the teenager who own it. This is a great movie. It doesn't have too much 'shocking' sound that keep playing in a horror movies nowaday. And by that way, it keep the thrill till last. Which is cool. And there is not so much screaming, that sometimes can be a total annoy to me.

My favourite moment in this movies? I think I got two. First, when the car is repair by it self after being bash by Buddy's gang at night before. Secondly, the chasing moment of that car with Buddy and the blow-up gas station.

If you want to watch this movie in YouTube, this is the links

Enjoy the movie.Oh, did I still watching a movie from YouTube? Yes... What movie?
The Shining, another Stephen King's work.

Last Kiss-Pearl Jam

Come to my favourite number 9. So I'm going to put my best favourite song that so touching and actually manege to make me cry when I heard it for the first time. Sound pathetic huh? I don't care, and Eddie Vedder voice just adding more sadness vibe in it.

Enjoy the song...

This Video & Song Catch Me...

Ok, I know today is not a YouTube Pick day (and this video is from DailyMotion). But this video is catching my attention for the unknown reason. Maybe the music or maybe the video. I'm not such a fan of this kind of music, even I hear it a little but not enough for making me dance. Actually this kind of music can get me dizzy if I listen it for more than 20 minutes... Anyway enjoy it. Kind of entertaining, I think.

Have You Ever Look Back? pt2

Ok, I know that I did not put part 1 in my Have You Ever Look Back. But I just wanted to let out other thought about this. But not about asking you, more about what I had done.

Since lately, I am hanging out with my sister's friends. My younger sister. Which is I'm not sure if it look cool or maybe overrated.

I did hanging out with a young friend but the age gap is just two years than me and also the older one that same gap of age two. But 7 years? Maybe something is not right here. There is a bit challenge to between the fresh young teens that energetic and slow like a sloth mid-twenty.

I mean, starting from the sense of fashion to the music. Nearly everything. And actually I cannot stand their kind-of-luxury lifestyle. I did not love spending my money too much except when I think it is really important or when I really feel like it. Saying that I'm a little bit frugal , so wasting money is not my way.

So, now I'm thinking that I want to distance a little bit. Because I think that I might be a little interfere in my sister life. I never meant to interfere but they just keep inviting me to join them as they think that I'm enjoyable to hang- out with. And because I think it is not so cool to be stuck between my beloved sister and her friends. Beside I have a pals on my own. Even it is fun to look back at the young-crazy-times.

Hmm... today I think that I'm going to get back something from the past. This is the trailer of the most hilarious movie that I ever seen. And great to mention, EPIC one in my comedy selection. The 2002 movie, Sorority Boys

Doesn't have to mention how funny it is. So great that everytime I watched it, I ending up crying and a cramp stomach. Have to watched by yourself to see if it can make you laugh. Don't worry if you cannot find the video at any video store. Somebody already upload it on YouTube. So cool!

Saturday Blabbering....

I spend my whole day cleaning up my room which is a total mess. Well, half of my room if the boxes under my bed is included. Don't matter about it right now.

And I found this old part of me cluttering inside my book shelf drawer. Enough to remind me about my old pastime, drawing.

I know this piece of drawing is not the best ever. This is my favourite things a long time ago, as I leading a student life that lots of passion and artistic feeling. But I think now I cannot draw a good as before because I haven't draw for years. Hmm... maybe a little sharpening of skills will do. For the sake of filling a free times and letting the artistic feeling flow again. Right?

Like I promised yesterday, this is the song that make the word anachronism keep poppin' out from my head since lately...

The Dresden Dolls- Girl Anachronism

This is the first song that introduce me to this band last year. Maybe it's quite late as this song come in 2004, but I think this song is totally new.

If you did not have any idea what kind of music of this band, they music style is Brechtian Punk Cabaret. Which is kind of rare, and I think so fresh to hear. With their dramatic image, it would be the another fact you will love them.

That's all.. Enjoy the music..
